Ananya GML CULTURAL ACADEMY

ANANYA – a self-funded, non-profit organization was founded in 1995 by a group of like-minded people with  an aim to support performing and visual arts. The odyssey of more than 25 long years has seen Ananya evolve into a holistic institution supporting arts and artists in every possible way.

Ananya has been organizing several programmes, encouraging and supporting young and established artistes alike. Ananya has orchestrated and conducted several thematic programmes, fostering creativity and making them more inclusive. “Ananya Puraskara” is awarded to eminent personalities in the field.

Ananya Arogyadhara is a unique initiative to provide health helpline to artistes in need of support.  During the pandemic, Ananya provided financial assistance to over 400 families.

Ananya Sangraha is a library of rare and invaluable books extremely useful to music and dance practionioners.

Ananya has many publications to its kitty, emphasizing its holistic approach. From CDs for dance to art-related magazines, to blogs, Ananya, is always striving to bridge the gap between artistes and connoisseurs using the latest technology available.

During these pandemic times, Ananya adopted the digital medium and broadcast concerts online. Ananya’s art related articles are now being published as a blog under Kalasinchana.
